The Malta Cyber Series, taking place on 30th, 31st October, and 1st November 2015 at Smart City Malta, is the third official event this year organised by GMR and the first in its series.
This kind of event involves a gathering of gamers for a weekend full of gaming where they can play their favourite games while also competing and having the chance to win cash and hardware prizes. The tournaments being organised during the first edition of the Malta Cyber Series include League of Legends – PC (5vs5), Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – PC (5vs5), Hearthstone – PC / Mobile (1vs1), and FIFA16 – PS4 (1vs1).
Apart from competing in these tournaments, one can also come and watch the games while taking a look around the event. The main aim of these events is to keep the local eSports community active. Apart from our annual celebration of esports in Malta, The Malta Esports Festival, The Malta Cyber Series act as training grounds to those players who are willing to take their hobby to the next level!
